Handbell Workshop, August 19, 9am-3:30pm at First Presbyterian Church, Hampton

Virginia Handbell Consort is offering a handbell workshop called the “Triple R Workshop; Reboot, Refresh, Ring” on Saturday, August 19, 2023, 9 am to 3:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church Hampton, 514 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA 23669. 

This workshop is designed to enhance the skills of handbell ringers and directors after the recent pandemic. The Director’s track will be led by Al Reese, director of Virginia Handbell Consort. The Ringer’s track will consist of 4 classes taught by experienced VHC ringers/ instructors. The classes are all designed to help reboot your handbell choirs, refresh each ringer’s skills, and to have fun while ringing. After all classes are complete, we will all get together and sight-ring new music as a group! Come as a choir or individual ringer. All are welcome! Lunch will be provided. The cost is $25 per person.
